I asked for an MG ZT gearbox because mine was becoming noisy. I had 3 responses within a couple of hours and 6 overall in about 24 hours. Excellent way of sourcing difficult parts.

Got 4 quotes sent to me within 2 hours which was really good. 2 of the quotes were 'good value' and contacting one of the suppliers was dead easy. When I got through to the supplier I was told that I might not be getting a 'colour matched' product. A little bit of haggling got me the proper painted part for another £10. This has still saved me about £100 by avoiding the main dealer. Will use 247spares again!
