Did what it said on the tin. I asked for a gearbox for my car and within 24 hours I had received 5 quotes, they were all outrageously expensive so I went elsewhere, but that is not the fault of this website.

When details were sent I had an excellent reply with many offers of parts requested. When I contacted various personnel to request more info they were very helpful answering my questions.

I've used 247 a couple of times now and am always impressed by the speed in which the quotes come through. Would certainly recommend using them to anyone looking for spares.

BUT!!!! The telephone number they give you to ring looks like a mobile phone number for the company that offered you the quote. Researched the number on the net and found out it was actually a premium rate number costing £1 a minute. Needless to say I didn't ring it as was warned most calls last about 6 mins. At least if 247 spares had indicated that it was a premium rate number, they would have some credibility. They didn't so they don't.
