I found 247 spares during an internet search for spares for my car.My local garage said it would be easier to find'rocking horse shit' as my car is 15 years old and an unusual model. I had been let down by another contact who promised they could get the part and did not for weeks. I tried 247 on a Sunday night and had a first reply within 30 minutes with 3-4 more by 8am on Monday morning. All could supply my needed parts. I should have went straight to them rather than wait weeks for a promise to materialise.

The concept of 24/7 is brilliant and I have no argument with them at all. What I would say is that as somebody who knows nothing about cars and engines, I felt the garage that I ultimately bought my engine from took advantage of this and I didn't get what they said I would - I asked if engine was complete (which is what mechanic told me I needed) they said it was apart from turbo but when it ultimately arrived it was a bare engine. When we contacted them they said that was all they did. I feel that there should have been more dialogue as I am sure they knew I didn't have the knowledge. I would use 24/7 again but ask more questions before purchasing.

I soon received about four offers of the part that I was looking for. I did find what I was after locally but the part was there if I had needed it
