I made my request late evening after the cut off time and was delighted with the number of email replies from suppliers received the next morning. I got phone calls from two of them and as one was located only a few miles from where I live and had quoted a competitive price, I arranged with them to visit their premises in person that afternoon where they not only supplied the part (car radio) but for a reasonable cost also fitted it. ALTHOUGH MY REQUEST FOR A PART WAS ANSWERED QUICKLY, THE PART I NEEDED WAS COLOUR SPECIFIC NONE OF THE REPLIES MENTIONED WHAT COLOUR THEY HAD. I HAVE NO TROUBLE GETTING THE PART LOCALLY BUT ONLY HAVE TROUBLE GETTING IT IN THE COLOUR ON MY CAR! A RED WING ON A SILVER CAR DONT WORK FOR ME. IF I NEED TO GET A SECONDHAND PART RESPRAYED AT A COST THAT EXCEEDS THE COST OF THE PART WHETHER IT BE SECONDHAND OR NEW I MAY AS WELLBUY IT NEW. AND NOT WASTE TIME TRAWLING THE INTERNET AND RINGING ROUND MY LOCAL BREAKERS...I WOULD USE 24/7 SPARES AGAIN AND WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO OTHERS.
