Ultimately I got the part I wanted at a fair price-but it took a second listing after three suppliers offered the part, took payment details, then cancelled, one saying it was broken (fair enough, but dont they check first?) another that "it has been sold on e-bay" and quite a bit of messing about, so it was 12 days before I finally got the part.

Several spares factors rang offering prices and chose one based on part age as well as price. Sheffield Motor Spares supplied. Part (Ford Focus window regulator was well packaged, delivered promptly and works a treat. Saved me a packet.

Great site, but disappointed that certain companies want to charge double for the same article, there should be a capped price, to make it fair.

My cylinder head was a store off. To order a new cylinder head for an MX5 I was quoted £1750 from an MX5 dealer who suggested I should try and source a second hand cylinder head from a dealer. I used google to start my search for a used part and stumbled across 247. I filled in a simple form on line and within minutes I had 3 dealers contact me directly with just what I needed for under £200 plus VAT. Everyone was super professional and polite. I cannot recommend this service enough! Fantastic!!!! I'm spreading the word amongst all of my friends and family. Thank you
John
