Needed alternator urgent on Monday morning for my Bmw e70 x5, a friend told me about 247spares, literally within minutes of completing the form i had phone calls flooding in, bought it from quarry motors in Sheffield they are BMW specialist, alternator delivered tuesday morning by 9am!!! if you need used parts fast and furious then use them

BUT!!!! The telephone number they give you to ring looks like a mobile phone number for the company that offered you the quote. Researched the number on the net and found out it was actually a premium rate number costing £1 a minute. Needless to say I didn't ring it as was warned most calls last about 6 mins. At least if 247 spares had indicated that it was a premium rate number, they would have some credibility. They didn't so they don't.

I received a phone call within 10 minutes of making my parts request, I accepted the part on offer and received it 2 days later, the delivering courier commented that he had never seen a package so well wrapped and presented, Upon opening the part required ( a Front Bumper, very Large and cumbersome), it was in excellent condition as indicated on the phone with all brackets etc in very good condition. Very Impressed indeed
