I certainly got some quick replies to my request for a wing mirror. Some by phone and some e mail. I was expecting the price to be competitive but most were quoting more than the cost of a genuine spare part. I have not yet received the item but with a bit of haggling I got it down to a reasonable cost.

Received quotes really quickly, was able to compare quotes and choose the one we wanted. Part was needed urgently and delivery promised next day. Part arrived next morning exactly what we wanted. Great service and idea as we had already been round all local breakers.

Received 5 different quotes through 247 and was able to get the correct part within a couple of days from A1 All Cars who were friendly and helpful. One other supplier was less so. I could not see how to stop the process once I had started it other than to ring 247 on a premium number and I was a bit confused as to whether I would be charged for text messages but I don't think I have been. I would certainly use 247 again if I need to.
