I got a very good prompt number of responses and I followed a few up with phone calls and declined others. My biggest problem was affordability. For old parts, the companies that responded were right at the top of pricing bands. I could have paid around £180 for the ABS Pump through 247, as it turned out I paid £30 via Ebay with a refund policy and PayPal protection.

Put my enquiry on 247 Spares and within a day I had many quotes. Some were too far away to be of help. But one firm was exactly what I wanted, at a good price and close to home. I would definitely use this site again.

The part (windscreen wiper motor) was in perfect condition, and was promptly despatched. It could, however, have done with a wipe over before despatch. It was nice to talk to a human being instead of just a machine.
