Some confusion with speaking to several different people, some cross communication but got the part ordered in the end, and price was not too bad. Had it fitted by Arnold Clark today and it turns out the mirror was in fact not what I needed although it does fit and all electrics work. It apparently is from the sport version if my car and is smaller than the original, but now it's on its still better than the damaged one.

I got a very good prompt number of responses and I followed a few up with phone calls and declined others. My biggest problem was affordability. For old parts, the companies that responded were right at the top of pricing bands. I could have paid around £180 for the ABS Pump through 247, as it turned out I paid £30 via Ebay with a refund policy and PayPal protection.
